Natalie H. (Thompson) Self Robinson, 72, Production Supervisor at Career Resources

Natalie H. (Thompson) Self Robinson of Haverhill passed away peacefully in her home with her husband and children by her side on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the age of 72.

Born in Peabody on April 7, 1945 to Joseph D. and Rose M. (Duchene) Thompson, she graduated High School from St. Johns Peabody in 1962.

Self Robinson was a lifelong fanatical fan of Neil Diamond, attending most every one of his concerts that came to the area. She most loved taking trips with her family to Disney World. She will forever be remembered by her Disney family, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Chip and Dale, Goofy, and Eeyore that she loved so very much. Disney World will never be the same without her visits. When she was not in Haverhill, she and her husband Gary would spend their weekends and summers at their house in Freedom, N.H., tooling around on their golf cart and hanging on Lake Ossipee. Most of all, time was shopping in North Conway.

Self Robinson was an avid collector of Coach and Dooney Bourke purses and loved shopping. She enjoyed a good cup of hazelnut coffee and a bucket of Lay’s ripple chips while watching QVC, purchasing the latest trends. She loved “Game of Thrones” and “The Walking Dead,” her faithful dog Casey always at her feet.

She was employed at Georgie Kays and as a production supervisor at Career Resources in Haverhill. Later, she worked at gift shops in Newburyport and as a receptionist at Merrimack Valley Foot Specialists before she retired. In the past few years, she volunteered at local nursing homes as an event coordinator. She was never afraid to strike up a conversation with someone and loved to help people in any way she could.

Self Robinson is survived by her husband of 26 years Gary W. Robinson, her three children David J. Martel and wife Nancy of Watertown, N.Y., Michele M. Martel of Watertown and Andrea Fogarty of Haverhill. She will also be missed by her five grandchildren Justin Martel of Ft. Bragg, N.C., Amanda and her husband Daniel Cox of Danvers, Geoffrey MacDonald of Boston, Kaetlyn Martel of Watertown, N.Y., and Ryan Fogarty of Haverhill. She is predeceased by her sister Denise A. Worobey who passed on Dec. 29, 2017.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, March 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the H.L Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. (Rte. 125). Her Funeral will be held on Monday, March 12 beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass as 11 a.m. at St. James Church, 185 Winter St., Haverhill.
