Shawn D. Miller, 46, Owned Haverhill’s SDM Custom Finish Carpentry

Shawn D. Miller, 46, passed away at Boston Medical Center in Boston on Feb. 28 with his loving family by his side.

Born in Lawrence, he was the son of Stephen R. Miller of Derry, N.H. and Louise (Stewart) Miller of Haverhill. He attended Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Class of 1990. A self-taught and gifted craftsman, Miller was the owner of S.D.M Custom Finish Carpentry in Haverhill. He enjoyed camping, hiking and fishing in the Salmon Run in upstate New York. He will be remembered for his quick wit and loud laughter. Miller loved spending time with his children and his granddaughter. A devoted father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Miller is survived by his children, Shawna Lee Miller of Seabrook, N.H., Marianna Elise Miller of Plaistow, N.H., Gabriel F. Miller of Plaistow, N.H., Jackson Reid Miller of West Newbury, Anderson John-Michael Miller of West Newbury, brothers Scott Reid Miller of North Berwick, Maine, Stacey Miller of Laconia, N.H., Shannon Newbanks and her husband Devin of York, Maine, granddaughter Delilah Mae Pavone, and his best friend Matthew D’Agati of Methuen.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, March 6 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 6:30 p.m.
