Andover High School briefly went into lockdown Tuesday morning as a precaution when a gun holster was found at the school.
It turns out, according to Andover Police, “the holster was from a starter pistol used in a track event yesterday that was misplaced.” Police said the starter pistol properly left the building Monday night.
“There is and was no threat to our students,” police said.
The entire incident lasted 15 minutes.
