97.9 FM WHAV now carries Haverhill City Council meetings live over-the-air on Tuesdays and School Committee meetings on alternating Thursdays, with Haverhill High School’s Sean Cokely to thank.
The HHS student recently joined WHAV’s on-air staff as a board operator, station President and General Manager Tim Coco announced.
Cokely comes to WHAV from the HHS AV Club, where he offered technical support during various city debates and candidate forums. He is also a member of the HHS Model United Nations program and will attend Vermont’s Norwich University in the fall to study engineering.
