Veronica (Davichick) Tracy, Former Head of Housekeeping at Baker-Katz Nursing Home

Veronica (Davichick) Tracy, 87, a lifelong Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 23.

Tracy was born in Haverhill on April 30, 1930, the daughter of John and Ann Davichick. She attended Haverhill schools and worked as Head of Housekeeping for Baker-Katz Nursing Home for over 20 years until her retirement.

Her hobbies included reading, bingo, crochet, walking and taking day trips with her family. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Tracy’s surviving family members include her loving children Debora Cook and husband John of Haverhill, Dana Tracy and wife Norma of Bradford, Jeffrey Tracy and wife Christine of Danville, N.H. and Janet Tracy of Bullhead City, Ariz., cherished grandchildren Jason Cook and wife Sherry, Danielle Raymond, Jeannine Cutroni and husband Michael, Wayne Tracy and wife Ashlee, Kevin Tracy, Katie Green, Cody Green and Wanda Pinder; great-grandchildren Jessie Clark and fiancé David Molina, Alexis Raymond, Logan Raymond, Austin Raymond, Zachary Cook, Colton Cutroni, Teddy Tracy, Annie Tracy, Gerald Bowley and Brandon Bowley, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Monday, Feb. 26, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 4 to 7 p.m.. A gathering in the funeral home on Tuesday begins at 10 a.m., followed by graveside service in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill at 11 a.m.
