Donna Mae Mooney, 71, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 15 after a prolonged illness at her home in Haverhill. She was born in Lynn on Jan. 18, 1947, the daughter of the late Charles and Violet (Morgan) Donachie. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School and earned her Associate’s degree in liberal arts at Bradford College. She loved crafting and was an avid painter.
Mooney is survived by her loving children Vance Winchell of Tewksbury and Erica Winchell of Hampton, N.H. She will also be missed by her brother James (Jimmy) Donachie of Haverhill, who was her devoted caretaker. She was the beloved Nana to Victoria (Tori) Comeau of Groveland, C.J. Bane of Hampton, N.H. and Jacob Winchell of Tewksbury. She was predeceased by her cherished husband Steven Mooney and her infant daughter Victoria Winchell.
