Children between 6-12 are invited to spend school vacation week at Buttonwoods during the Haverhill museum’s new “Snowbound” workshop.

Held on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the workshop will use the poem by Haverhill’s own John Greenleaf Whittier as inspiration for a morning of winter-themed activities. Campers will tour the 19th century Duncan Family house to discover how New Englanders kept warm and entertained back in the day.

The workshop fee is $10 and includes a snack of cookies and cocoa and all craft materials. Registration forms can be obtained by emailing [email protected].
