Alice F. (Boulanger) Gaudet, 92, Member of Saint Joseph’s Parish Housekeeping Staff

Alice F. (Boulanger) Gaudet, 92, of Haverhill, died peacefully on Friday, Feb. 16 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Frances (Saulnier) Boulanger, she attended Saint Joseph Grammar School and Haverhill High School. A lifelong member of All Saints Parish and the former Saint Joseph Parish, she served as a Sacristan and was a 30-year member of the housekeeping staff of the church. She was also previously employed by Goldberg Shoe Co.

Gaudet enjoyed crocheting, line dancing and tap dancing, country music and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was the wife of Robert J. Gaudet, who died in 1988, and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jean Gaudet of Hampton, N.H., Janet Marcinkevich of East Hampstead, N.H., Katherine and Sonny Dionne of Haverhill and Lynne and John Jurgel of Lee, N.H., a son and daughter-in-law, James and Donna Gaudet, of Wildwood, Fla., eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Richard Gaudet, son-in-law Stephen Marcinkevich and sisters Irene Connolly, Rita Comeau, Jeannette Fournier, Doris Vezina and Lorraine Fournier.

There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, Feb. 19 at 10:30 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill. A private family burial service will take place at a later date. The family requests that memorial donations in her name be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice.
