This program is supported in part by a grant from the Haverhill Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Haverhill’s Buttonwoods Museum is making space for a community member’s exhibit this summer as part of its 2018 ‘Curate Your Own Exhibit’ contest. Exhibit pitches from patrons age 13 and older are being accepted now through March 16.

Proposals must include a theme or storyline and detail the type of artifacts the collector intends to exhibit. Buttonwoods artifacts may be used where possible.

The winner of this year’s contest will spend April and May executing their vision with Buttonwoods’ Curator Jan Williams, install the exhibit the last week of July and present it to the public during the month of August.

Proposals are accepted via email by contacting Williams at [email protected].
