Who makes the best meatballs?
That’s what the Sons of Italy, Victor Emanuel Lodge, wants to find out. The charitable group is inviting the public to help pick a winner and runner-up this Saturday.
Its first Meatball Contest takes place Feb. 10, from noon to 3 p.m., at 124 Washington St.
Entrants pay $5 and have a chance at winning half of the ticket sales and a trophy. The public can taste test meatballs for $2 per person, and the lodge will add bread and butter. There will also be a Valentine’s Day raffle at 8 p.m.
