Geraldine F. (Law) Danforth, 82, Employed in Shoe Industry

Geraldine F. (Law) Danforth, 82, of Haverhill, wife of the late Donald E. Danforth, passed away at her home Feb. 4, with her family by her side.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Mary E. (Comeau) Law. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she attended St. James Grammar School and St. James High School. Danforth was employed in the shoe industry before she was a stay at home mother. She liked to go camping throughout New England with her husband and was a member of The Good Sam Club. She enjoyed playing bingo at the local churches. She loved to go out for lunch with family and friends, especially at Salisbury Beach, where she was a people watcher.

Surviving Danforth are her daughters, Donna J. Spencer of Raymond, N.H., Susan M. Curley and her husband Craig of Plaistow, N.H., Janine Danforth and Steven Nason of Haverhill; 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her daughter Cheryle Kiley, grandson Jay Curley, her brother Richard Law and sister Evelyn Goudreault.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St, Haverhill. Funeral services follow in the funeral home at 6:30 p.m.
