Although Team Haverhill’s River Ruckus in downtown Haverhill doesn’t take place until next fall, it is putting some money in the bank early.
Haverhill-based Pentucket Bank recently contributed $5,000 to the annual event, which features music, children’s activities, food and fireworks on the Merrimack River. Accepting the donation was City Councilor Tim Jordan, Team Haverhill River Ruckus co-chair.
River Ruckus is planned for Saturday, Sept, 22. Pentucket Bank has supported the festival since its first year and has collaborated with Team Haverhill on several community enhancement projects over the past decade.
