Paul G. Dion, 75, Served Haverhill Water Dept.

Paul G. Dion, 75, of Hampstead, N.H. and formerly of Haverhill, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Exeter Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born in Haverhill, June 9, 1942, son of the late Paul J. and Shirley G. (Sawyer) Dion.

Dion was a graduate Haverhill Trade School, and was employed at the former Western Electric for many years. From 1962 to 1966, he served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was honorably discharged. He also worked at the Haverhill Water Dept. and the Roma restaurant in Bradford.

Dion is survived by his wife of 56 years Carol A. (Francis) Dion; four children, Linda Ringuette and husband John Zuber Jr. of Plaistow, Kathleen Goguen and husband Robert Bavota of Danville, N.H., Tammy Roberts and husband Christopher Roberts of Haverhill and Paul G. Dion Jr. of Bradford;  brother, David J. Dion and his partner John McKone of Hampton, N.H.; grandchildren Mark, Stephen, Matthew, Meaghan, Nicholas, Christopher, Brandon, Olivia, Justin, Noah and Drew; as well as two great grandchildren Cameron and Adam.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours Friday, Feb. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m., at H.L. Farmer and Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Bradford. His funeral service is Saturday, Feb. 3, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial follows in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Contributions in his memory may be made to Dana Farber, P.O.
