Overnight roadwork along stretches of Interstate 93 in Andover and Methuen begins this week to repair potholes in the first phase of a $13.4 million construction project.
Police details will alert drivers to impacted sections of the north and southbound highway during the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. throughout the week.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation’s latest project includes the resurfacing of I-93 in Andover and Methuen, along with bridge deck repairs, guardrail reconstruction and drainage upgrades. Repairs are expected to continue through spring 2020.
