Maura Healey Coming to Haverhill Monday for Town Hall at Hunking

Attorney General Maura Healey makes her way to Haverhill on Monday for a Town Hall meeting held at Hunking School at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting is sponsored by local political activism group Greater Haverhill Indivisible and is free and open to all.

“Over the past two-and-a-half years, I’ve created an office that works hard to address and act on the issues that matter most to us—ensuring economic security, aggressively targeting our state’s devastating opioid crisis and keeping our communities, consumers and seniors safe,” Healey said in a statement promoting her appearance.

“These are critical times—for our state and our country—and Massachusetts needs to be the first line of defense and of action to ensure we continue to lead,” she added. “Our state has always led and now we must lead again, to fight for progress and stand up to anyone who wants to roll back the gains made.”

In addition to offering an overview of recent work done by her office, Healey will also take questions during the Town Hall presentation.

  1. Just a correction. Greater Haverhill Indivisible is not sponsoring this event, it is a Town Hall set-up by the Attorney General Maura Healey’s office. We are just trying to let as many people as possible know about this important event. Thanks WHAV for leting your readers know about this Town Hall!
