Members of Haverhill’s Republican City Committee will join local wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 to elect delegates to the 2018 Massachusetts State Convention on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting takes place at the Haverhill Public Library, 99 Main St.

Elected delegates will represent Haverhill at the Republican State Convention, held at Worcester’s DCU Center in April.

“I am hopeful that Haverhill will have a full slate of energized, enthusiastic Republicans to represent our city in Worcester,” Republican City Committee Chair Meredith Warren Landrum said. “Serving as a delegate is an important part of getting involved in our state’s political process. It’s also a lot of fun.”

In order to be elected, delegates must be a resident of the ward they seek to represent and have been registered to vote as a Republican as of December 31, 2017. Interested candidates can email Landrum at [email protected] for more information.
