Patricia A. (Donoghue) Reilly, 66, Taught Third Grade

Patricia A. (Donoghue) Reilly, 66, of Peabody, devoted wife of Michael F. Reilly, passed away unexpectedly at Beverly Hospital on Friday, Jan. 19. She was born in Cambridge on May 9, 1951, the daughter of the late Daniel Donoghue and Catherine (Lambie) Donoghue. Reilly lived in Rockland in early childhood and moved to Winthrop in adolescence. She was a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph Academy and Boston State College.

Reilly taught third grade for over 25 years, at both Sacred Heart School in Lynn and Our Lady of the Assumption School in Lynnfield. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and family.

In addition to her husband Michael with whom she shared 42 years of marriage, she is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Meghan M. and Robert Michaud of Merrimac and Erin E. and David Jenkins of North Reading, three cherished grandchildren, Timothy and Katherine Michaud and Margaret Jenkins, two sisters and their spouses, Christine and Richard Sweeney of Beverly and Sheila and Paul Ernst of Plymouth and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and dear friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. at St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody. In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to the Patricia A. Reilly Scholarship Fund, 392 Main St., Haverhill, MA 01830. Her burial will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
