Newburyport Pediatrician, Memoirist Bottner to Speak at Temple Emanu-El

Newburyport pediatrician and memoirist Dr. Tammy Bottner is the latest author stopping by Temple Emanu-El for its Breakfast with the Author series.

Bottner will discuss her book “Among the Reeds” on Sunday, Jan. 28 at 10 a.m., with a breakfast served before the event at 9:30 a.m. A book signing will follow the Q&A.

During her appearance, Bottner will detail her family’s experiences during the Holocaust and how she triumphed in the face of tragedy.

Tickets for the breakfast are $10 per person. A smaller gathering with the author is available to patrons for a $50 donation. Advance registration is requested by calling 978-373-3861.
