Help for Haverhill’s police staffing crunch is on the way. Rep. Andy Vargas announced Friday that the state’s Department of Public Safety and Security granted the Haverhill Police Department $205,000 at the request of Governor Charlie Baker. The money can be used to restore, retain or hire police
