Kaliope “Kelly” Miserlis, 93, of Haverhill passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 14 in Haverhill.
Miserlis was born in Haverhill on Jan. 25, 1924 and was the daughter of the late George and Demetra (Scumniotales) Miserlis.
She was educated in the Haverhill school system and attended Haverhill High School. She worked at Western Electric for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Miserlis and her family George, Demetra and Lilly Miserlis of Lowell, niece Denise (Miserlis) and her husband David Hoyle and their sons Alexander and Benjamin of Arlington, niece Stephanie Miserlis also of Arlington, niece Katherine (Chantilas) Drew and her husband Bill and their children George, Amelia and Irene Drew of Cincinnati, Ohio, nephew James Chantilas and his wife Lydia and their children George, James and Alex, also of Cincinnati. She also leaves a dear friend Millie Knutson.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Haverhill Crossings for the exceptional care Miserlis received while she was a resident there.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Holy Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154-156 Winter St. Haverhill. Her funeral service will follow the calling hours at 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford. Contributions in her memory may be made to Holy Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154-156 Winter St. Haverhill.
