Lorraine (Pare) Caron, 89, Certified Nursing Assistant

Lorraine (Pare) Caron, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 15 with her loving family by her side.

Born in Salem on May 9, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and Alma (Martel) Pare.

Caron was a devout Catholic and revels in His embrace today. She spent her life caring for others working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 35 years and cared for no one more than her family who were the center of her universe.

She is predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Henry A. (Skeets) Caron, son Randy, siblings Joseph, Lucian, Paul, Andrew, Mary and Lillian. Her surviving family members include her sister Lorette of Tampa, Fla. and daughters Paula Caron of Portsmouth, N.H. and Sharon Johanson and husband Steven of Groveland. Caron will be missed by her grandchildren, with whom she shared a close and constant relationship. Her grandchildren include Robert and Jackie Karlberg, Aimee, Daniel, and Steven Johanson of Groveland. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Lorraine’s life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20 in St. Patrick Church, 114 Center St., Groveland at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. Arrangements by Driscoll Funeral Home, Haverhill.
