Sandra M. (Richardson) Crosby, 66, Waitress at Al’s Place in Haverhill

Sandra M. (Richardson) Crosby, 66, the wife of Joseph W. Crosby, passed away Monday, Jan. 8 at home with her devoted family by her side.

Born in Methuen, Crosby was the daughter of the late Norman and Grace E. (Haley) Richardson. Raised and educated in Methuen, she was a graduate of Tenney High School’s Class of 1969. Crosby was employed at Lucent (AT&T) in the customer service department. Many in Haverhill fondly remember her as a waitress at Al’s Place on Primrose Street in Haverhill, a job she loved. Crosby enjoyed all genres of music and dancing. She loved to host family and friends at her home for many poolside parties. She loved her family, especially her beloved children and grandchildren, and would do anything for them. She will always be remembered for her loving spirit and her devotion to her family.

In addition to her loving husband Joseph, she is survived by her daughter, Kyra A. Crosby of Haverhill, stepchildren Joseph K. Crosby and Ronda Calhoun of Raleigh, N.C., Katherine L. Shelton and her husband Kim of Goldsboro, N.C., her sister, Norma J. Grealish and her husband Bill Grealish of Salem, N.H. three grandchildren, Nikolas Langlois, Bryce Langlois and Brooke Langlois, her niece Tracy Loeschen of Methuen and nephew Bill Grealish of Auburn. She was predeceased by her stepdaughter Kristina M. Ham.
