Haverhill Christmas Tree Trash Pickup Runs Through Jan. 12

Now that it’s 2018, it’s out with the old—Christmas tree, that is! Haverhill’s waste and recycle hauler, Capital Waste Services, will be making the rounds to collect Christmas trees on regularly scheduled trash pickup days through Friday, Jan. 12.

City residents are asked to leave bare trees—no ornaments, lights or other sharp objects allowed—next to their household trash on their regular collection day to be picked up. There is no appointment necessary but only one tree per household will be collected.

Most wrapping paper, with the exception of foil and cellophane, can be recycled.
