State Rep. Andy Vargas to Hold Constituent Coffee Hours Starting in January

New State Representative Andy Vargas invites his Haverhill constituents to have coffee and address their concerns starting next month.

The Beacon Hill newcomer, who filed his first bill aimed at preserving net neutrality in the Commonwealth last week, is keeping his Haverhill neighbors top of mind.

“This holiday season, I feel particularly thankful to begin my new job as your State Representative and to continue working hard to ensure Haverhill is a great place to live and work,” Vargas said in an email to supporters.

To that end, members of his staff will hold office hours in the city each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St. Vargas himself will be available every other Friday morning at coffee shops around town to hear constituent concerns.

“We want to carry your ideas in the legislative process here on Beacon Hill. Helping Haverhill residents is our number one priority, and we promise to support you in any way possible,” Vargas said.
