The YWCA of Northeastern Massachusetts has been named November’s Business of the Month by the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber President Beverly Donovan presented Renee Maguire and Sue Staples with the honor last week.
Comprised of the YWCAs of Haverhill and Lawrence and the YWCA North Shore Rape Crisis Center in Lynn, the organization was selected by the Chamber for its efforts to provide safe housing and affordable childcare for families across Essex County.
Haverhill’s Chamber will select its 2017 Business of the Year at a breakfast in February.
