Atkinson Man Pleads Not Guilty to Drug Charges

An Atkinson man has pleaded not guilty to drug possession charges after police seized six-and-a-half pounds of marijuana, 87 doses of THC and other drug paraphernalia at his home last month.

David Margeson entered a not guilty plea through his attorney Gregory Johnson during a Friday arraignment in Rockingham Superior Court. Arrested Nov. 27, Margeson was released on $10,000 bail.

At the time of his arrest, Atkinson authorities said Margeson was in possession of scales, packaging materials and $1,300 in cash. Police also seized 20 doses of Cannabis oil, edible marijuana chocolates and cookies from his home.
