The Haverhill Public Schools Special Education Department invites the community to remember late teacher Angela Iannalfo at a benefit in her memory on Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Smith’s Tavern, 124 Essex St., Haverhill.
A toy, clothing and book donation drive will take place at the “Elf for a Night” event to help brighten the holidays for Haverhill families in need. New, unwrapped gifts will be accepted at the door.
A $10 donation is suggested and all money raised will go to purchase additional gifts.
Gifts can also be dropped off at the Special Education Department office, 4 Summer St., room 104.
Hunking School Special Education Facilitator Iannalfo passed away suddenly in November after a medical emergency, leaving behind her husband and three children.
