The Methuen Police Department seeks the public help in identifying a male suspect who attempted to break into Ideal Office, 28 Pelham Ave., on Monday.
In surveillance video posted by Methuen authorities, the unknown male can be seen using a metal bar to pry open external doors around 3:15 a.m. He fled the scene on foot after partially opening a second door.
The suspect is described as thin in build wearing dark pants and a light-colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up.
