A 58-year-old Haverhill man and a 28-year-old Lawrence man have been arrested and charged with drug possession and intent to distribute after a bust on Haverhill’s Dustin Street.
Police spokesman Detective Lt. Robert Pistone told WHAV that concerned citizens in the area of Dustin Street alerted authorities to suspicious activity. When detectives set up surveillance, they observed a drug transaction between Rafael Rojas of 36 Vine St., Haverhill, and Randi Delacruz of 8 Pleasant Terrace, Lawrence.
Arrested on Thursday, Nov. 30, both men were charged with possession of a class B drug. Common drugs in that class include Vicodin, LSD, cocaine and Valium. Delacruz was also charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
