Conservation Commission to Discuss Merrimack River Erosion Thursday

Haverhill’s Conservation Commission will discuss how to stabilize eroding sections of the Merrimack River along Haverhill’s Riverside Park during its meeting Thursday, Dec. 7 at City Hall. The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. in room 301.

Other public meetings this week are:

Zoning Review Committee: The group gathers Monday, Dec. 4 at City Hall from 2 to 4 p.m. to conduct a final review of Haverhill’s Revised Zoning Code.

Administration and Finance Committee: On Monday at 7 p.m., Chris Bullock of ClearGov updates councilors on the city’s budget-data program.

City Council: Hartell Johnson, who ran for a council seat in November, will be appointed to Haverhill’s Cultural Council at this week’s meeting, held Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. in City Hall room 301.

Hillview Montessori Accountability & Subcommittee: Student growth is on the agenda for the Ward Hill school’s Wednesday, Dec. 6 meeting at 4:30 p.m. at 75 Foundation Ave., Haverhill.

Haverhill Cultural Council: The Council meets at the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St., Wednesday at 7 p.m. to continue its scoring of grant applications.
