The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce’s 25th annual Christmas Stroll takes place tomorrow, from 2 to 6 p.m. in downtown Haverhill.

Themed around the Grinch, downtown goes green in a giant Who-labration that includes family-friendly activities like cookie decorating, ornament making, rides on the Haverhill Bank Express Train, visits to Santa’s Workshop and live music performances by the 2017 Haverhill Idol winners.

97.9 WHAV FM will be on hand to discuss its forthcoming “Calls to Santa” Christmas series, featuring area children.

The annual tree lighting, powered by Covanta, with Santa takes place around 5:30 p.m., in Washington Square.

Saturday’s event also features Whittier Birthplace Curator Gus Reusch’s reading of John Greenleaf Whittier’s “Snowbound,” and an appearance by WMUR weatherman Josh Judge, who will sign copies of his book “Be Kind to the Weather Guy.” Local shops and restaurants will also be open for business during the event, which is free and open to the public
