Ralph G. Darcangelo, 91, Worked for General Electric

Ralph G. Darcangelo, 91, of Haverhill passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Darcangelo was born and raised in Haverhill, the son of Ralph Darcangelo and Rose (Fantini) Darcangelo. He graduated from Haverhill High School in 1944 and served honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked at General Electric and then later for the U.S. Postal Service.

Darcangelo was the personification of what a good man should be. He was funny, friendly, dependable and honest. He always had a smile on his face and a good word for everyone. He was truly a wonderful husband to his wife and his children could not have asked for a better father.

He is predeceased by his cherished wife of 70 years Ann (Quintiliani) Darcangelo, who passed this past March and his beloved daughter Lori Darcangelo. He is survived by his loving son Barry R. Darcangelo and his cousin Janice Sacoco, who he considered his sister.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Nov. 27, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main St., Haverhill from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, No. Broadway, Haverhill.
