Evelina (Iannalfo) Mollica, 94, Grieco Bros. Stitcher

Evelina (Iannalfo) Mollica, 94, of Methuen passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21 at High Pointe House in Haverhill. Born in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Costantino and Antonia (Simone) Iannalfo.

Mollica was raised in Italy and came to Lawrence in 1969. She lived in Methuen for the greater part of her life and worked for many years as a stitcher at Grieco Brothers. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence and lived for her family and to have them gathered in her home.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Antonio Mollica and her siblings, Carmela Santantonio, Lattanina Zanni, Rocco, Guido, Alberto, Amedeo, and Armando Iannalfo.

Mollica is survived by her children, Mario Mollica and his wife Rosemary of Salem, N.H. and Nina Sammataro and her husband Bob of Windham, N.H.; sisters-in-law, Angelina Iannalfo of Lawrence and Nancy Iannalfo of Methuen. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, Nov. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27 at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence. Burial will follow at St. Mary – Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Lawrence.
