Andover’s Dan Koh is spending his Thanksgiving on the run—literally. The candidate for the 3rd District congressional seat concluded his 12-leg run across his district Thursday, logging 11.95 miles through Methuen, Lawrence and Andover.

Koh began his quest to run through all 37 communities of the district on Oct. 26 in Haverhill and covered more than 130 miles along the way.

The former Chief of Staff to Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, Koh announced his plan to run for Congress in October. He is one of nearly a dozen Democrats running to succeed Niki Tsongas, who will not seek re-election next year.
