Robert N. Nolin, 75, Skilled Carpenter and Tradesman

Robert N. Nolin, 75, of Hampton, N.H., died on Saturday Nov. 4 at Haverhill’s Oxford Nursing Home after a long illness.

Born in Haverhill, the son of Edward D. Sr. and Helen R. (Cunningham) Nolin, Nolin attended Haverhill Trade School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and spent 30 years residing in Florida working as a carpenter. He was a gifted tradesman who enjoyed his work and derived his pride from the quality of his work.

Nolin is survived by three daughters and son-in-law Lynne and James Meehan of Hampton, N.H., Kimberly Bailey of Haverhill and Amanda Flavin of Craigsville, Va.; sisters Faith Jendrick and Nancy Leveille, both of Haverhill; brother and sister-in-law Edward D., Jr. and Muriel Nolin of Forsyth, Mo., five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his name. Arrangements are under the direction of Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill.
