Haverhill City Council Expects to Postpone Property Tax Vote

Even though the Haverhill City Council was scheduled to discuss property tax rates Tuesday night, the annual exercise will be postponed because Mayor James J. Fiorentini is out of the country.

The item appeared on the agenda because it had been previously advertised.

“The annual tax classification hearing to set residential and commercial tax rates, will be postponed until the next meeting on Nov. 28,” council President John A. Michitson said in a social media post.
