Mary K. (Keatings) Sice, 74, Active in Haverhill Chamber of Commerce

Mary K. (Keatings) Sice, 74, of East Hampstead, N.H. and formerly of Haverhill, died Sunday, Nov. 5, at Lahey Clinic, Burlington.

She was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Aug. 15, 1943, the daughter of the late Robert and Sarah (Johnston) Keatings and was educated in the Belfast school system. Sice came to the United States in 1963 and became a U.S. citizen in 1996.

While in Haverhill, she was employed at the former Eastern Canvas and was active in the Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, supporting its KidsFEST and Christmas Stroll for many years.

Her survivors include her husband of 54 years, retired Haverhill Police Officer Martin Sice of East Hampstead, daughter Eileen Xenakis and her husband Jeff of East Hampstead, sons Timothy Sice and his wife Suzanne of Newburyport, Michael Sice and his wife Karen of Nashua, N.H., Robert Sice and his wife Casey of Hampton Falls, N.H., sisters Bernadette McCormick and her husband Thomas of Toronto, Anne Dennis and her husband Allan of Haverhill, Patricia Lewis of England, brother Bryan Keatings and his wife Stella of Liverpool, England, nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Friday, Nov. 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Bradford. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in memory of Mary Sice to support The Sophia Gordon Cancer Center.
