The West Newbury Police Department is actively searching for missing teen Hannah Nicole Gil, 16, believed to be a runaway.
Chief Art Reed issued a call Thursday for the public’s support in locating Gil, who was last seen at her home around 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Gil is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt and gray pants and was carrying a backpack. Believed to be traveling on foot, Gil does not have a cell phone in her possession.
West Newbury police say Gil may be in the Haverhill area or around Atkinson or Salem, N.H., where she has friends.
