Carol Arsenault, 80, Longtime Haverhill Resident

Carol Arsenault, 80, a longtime Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 27. He was born in Haverhill on Jan. 22, 1937, son of the late Joseph and Louise (Dube) Arsenault.

A carpenter by trade, Arsenault loved boating and fishing and spent his days watching the river outside his windows. His favorite TV show was “Walker ,Texas Ranger.”

Arsenault is survived by his loving best friend and mother of his children Lorraine Ricker of Limerick, Maine. He leaves his children Frederick Rowbotham of Arcadia, Fla., the late Jay Arsenault, Lorraine Simoneau and partner Greg of Haverhill, Leona Ploof and her partner Scott of Haverhill, Joseph Arsenault of Tilton, N.H., Louise Marie Arsenault and partner Alex of Salisbury, Richard Arsenault of Plaistow and Roland Smith of Newburyport. He will be greatly missed by all of his cherished 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his mother and father, four brothers and two sisters.

Private services will be held in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill where Arsenault will be laid to rest. Arrangements were by Driscoll Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Haverhill.
