Updated: Haverhill Police Arrest Two N.H. Men on Gun, Drug Charges

Two New Hampshire men were arrested by Haverhill Police on firearms and drug charges late Friday afternoon in a remote area of the city.

Jordan Polizzotti, 27, of North Hampton, N.H., and Joshua Smith, 29, of Plaistow, N.H., were each charged with possessing a large-capacity firearm and loaded gun, carrying an unlicensed gun and ammunition, fentanyl trafficking and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Smith was additionally charged with possession of drugs and a warrant related to fentanyl trafficking and resisting arrest. Polizzotti was also charged with unlicensed driving and a number plate violation.

The pair were arrested at about 5:30 p.m., Friday, on Millvale Road, after police received a report of a suspicious person. Additional details were not immediately available.
