Haverhill Plans Citywide Trick or Treating, Winnekenni to Host Costume Party

Goblins of Haverhill get ready! Citywide trick-or-treating will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Winnekenni Castle’s annual Children’s Halloween Costume Party happens Sunday, Oct. 22 from noon to 3 p.m. and will feature outdoor games, treats, a family hayride and much more. A costume parade will take place at 2 p.m. Admission at the door is $8 for children and $5 for adults.

Other local towns are getting ready for Halloween and have announced festive happenings leading up to the holiday. A sampling of events is as follows:

Methuen: Trick or Treat held on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Plaistow: A special trick-or-treating session for toddlers only will take place at Town Hall on Friday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to noon. The town recreation department will host its annual Pumpkin Lighting on the Town Green (145 Main St.) on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Plaistow’s all-ages trick-or-treating will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Sandown: Trick or Treat held on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
