Pauline M. Mailloux, 87, Former Hale Hospital Nurse

Pauline M. Mailloux, 87, passed away Oct. 15, at her home in Haverhill.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Ethier) Mailloux. She attended St. James Grammar School and St. James High School, class of 1948. She then went on and attended Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Nashua, N.H., where she received her degree as a registered nurse. Mailloux was employed for many years at the former Hale Hospital in Haverhill as a recovery nurse until her retirement in 1987. She was dedicated to helping people and was a true Christian. Her faith was an integral part of her life. She was a volunteer in Haverhill for the Wheels on Meals Program. She loved to travel and she visited many countries throughout the world. She especially loved to spend time on Seabrook Beach with family and friends.

Mailloux is survived by her nephew Kim Goudreault and his wife Beth of Bradford; niece, Cherie Aramian of Kingston, N.H.; and her brother, Gerald Mailloux of Nantucket.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Thursday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m., at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill. Burial follows in St. Joseph Cemetery, 829 Hilldale Ave., Haverhill.
