New Exit 46B Opening on I-93 This Week as Part of Rotary Reconstruction Project

A new off-ramp marked Exit 46B will open on I-93 as part of the ongoing rotary reconstruction project in Methuen, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced. Weather permitting, the new exit will open to traffic this week.

Exit 46B is on interstate 93 northbound just north of the new bridge that carries traffic over Route 110/113 in Methuen.

Once the new exit opens, the existing Exit 46 will only serve northbound traffic seeking to access Route 110/113 and will be renamed Exit 46A. Message boards and signage will alert drivers to the change in traffic patterns.
