William John ‘Bill’ DiBurro, 76, Ran DiBurro Market 30 Years

William John ‘Bill’ DiBurro, 76, of Lithia, Fla., died Oct. 11, after a long illness.

He was born in Haverhill and attended Haverhill Trade, graduating in 1960.

He worked for Stop & Shop for 10 years. He married Sandra Girard in 1963. He bought and ran the DiBurro Market for 30 years before retiring for health reasons. After retiring he moved to Northwood, N.H., for 15 years before moving to Florida in 2014.

He is survived by his family; his wife of 53 years, Sandra DiBurro; three children, Theresa, William and Michael; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Thomas John ‘TJ’, Nicholas, Corey, Alyssa, Justine, and Katey; a sister, Patricia; and a nephew, Joseph Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 10 a.m., at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St., Bradford. Burial follows in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements are by H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford.
