Leo J. Leonard, 58, Haverhill Bus Monitor

Leo J. Leonard, 58, of Georgetown, husband of Linda (Barnard) Leonard, passed away Oct. 4, at Carney Hospital in Boston with his family by his side.

Born in Beverly, he was the son of Warren and Virginia (Caron) Leonard. Raised and educated in Beverly, he was a graduate of Beverly High School, class of 1977. Leonard was employed for the past 12 years for the City of Haverhill as a bus monitor. He also worked at the Burger King at Gloucester Crossing in Beverly. He was an avid sports fan, following the Bruins, Red Sox and the New England Patriots. His favorite song is “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. He loved to travel and ventured to Las Vegas, driving the entire way.

In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by his children, Richard W. King Jr. of Haverhill; Caroline R. Noiles and her husband Raymond Noiles Jr. of Haverhill; brother John M. Leonard of Beverly; two grandchildren, Jessica M. King; Richard W. King III; two great grandchildren, Abigail and Dominic; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours Thursday, Oct. 12 from 4 to 7 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services follow in the funeral home at 7 p.m.
