Jennie C. (Pelleriti) Hanscom, 82, of Haverhill, died Wednesday night, Oct. 4, at Hannah Duston Health Care, Haverhill.
She was born in Lawrence, Sept. 10, 1935, daughter of the late Frank and Concetta (Licciardeloo) Pelleriti. Educated in the Lawrence school system, Hanscom graduated from Lawrence High School. A homemaker, she enjoyed puzzles, walks and bird feeding.
She was the wife of the late Alan Hanscom and mother of the late Michael Hanscom.
Her survivors include three daughters, Theresa Gaff of Plaistow, N.H., Cathy Hanscom and Diana Hanscom, both of Haverhill; two sons, Richard Hanscom of Plaistow, N.H., and David Hanscom of Haverhill; daughter-in-law, Sharon Hanscom of Richmond, Virg.; five sisters, Josephine Magliocca and her husband Anthony of Milford, Catherine Terrazano of Swampscott, Eleanor Kelly of Methuen, Constance Corchoran of Derry, N.H., and Louise King and her husband Frank of Dunstable; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 5 p.m., at H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a funeral service at 5:15 at the funeral home.
