Methuen Police are inviting the public to an open house in two weeks.
This year’s annual event features tours of the police station, K-9 demonstrations, SWAT equipment, “Chase” from Paw Patrol and a “selfie” station for taking photographs.
Police vehicles, including motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, patrol cars, public safety boat and the department’s watercraft, will also be on display Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Methuen Police Department, 90 Hampshire St.
“We really enjoy hosting the open house each year to give residents the opportunity to come and meet their police officers in a fun environment,” said Police Chief Joseph E. Solomon. “There will be a lot of exciting activities again this year and we hope everyone will have a chance to stop by and join us.”
Free refreshments will be provided.
