31st Annual Bobby Bell 5K Walk/Run Takes Over Downtown Haverhill on Oct. 8

Runners get ready: The 31st annual Bobby Bell 5K walk/run is set to take over downtown Haverhill on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 10:30 a.m.

Entry into the annual event, kicking off at The Lasting Room at 122 Washington St., is $33 in advance and includes a shirt for the first 270 registrants for the run and the first 70 registered to walk in the Joyce Moriarty fitness walk. Headphones will be given to all finishers. Those interested in registering on race day can do so for $38.

Lunch and raffles will take place after the race, with prizes for age groups, weight divisions, Haverhill residents and police officers and firefighters.

All proceeds from the Bobby Bell 5K will benefit the Tony Sapienza Memorial Math Scholarship Fund.

Entries are accepted online or via mail using the instructions on the race website.
