Christine Webster, 94, of Newburyport, passed away Sept. 26, at Brigham Care and Rehabilitation.
She was born in Worcester, June 1, 1923, daughter of the late William and Marion (Laskey) Webster. Webster was a graduate of Newburyport High School with the class of 1941 and received her nursing degree from Lawrence Memorial in Medford.
Webster was a registered nurse at the former Hale Hospital for 23 years, the former Amesbury Hospital for 10 years and an associate of the Sister of Notre Dame de Namur in Ipswich. She was also a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Newburyport.
She is survived by her three sisters Janet R. Sheehan, Susan D. Bennett and Barbara J. Webster all of Newburyport; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial Friday Sept. 29, at 10:30 a.m., in Immaculate Conception Church, 42 Green St. Newburyport. A private burial takes place in Belleville Cemetery, Newburyport. At her request, there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford.
