Louise C. (Freni) Crescenzi, 69, Psychiatric Social Worker, Drove School Bus

Louise C. (Freni) Crescenzi, 69, wife of Michael Crescenzi, passed away Sept. 6, with her family by her side.

Born in Stoneham, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Catherine E. (Bicchieri) Freni. Raised and educated in Medford, she was a graduate of Medford High School. Crescenzi obtained her bachelor’s in Social Work from Springfield College. She was a psychiatric social worker for many years in various group homes throughout the Merrimack Valley. She was also employed at Coppola Bus Company, driving children to school for more than 20 years. She traveled with her husband Michael to Europe and many trips to Italy. She enjoyed gardening and going to the beach and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Michael, Crescenzi is survived by her children, Marc P. Crescenzi and his wife Cynthia of East Hampstead, N.H., and Michele L. Sullivan and her husband Kevin J. of Haverhill; sister, Grace LeClair of Peabody; grandchildren, Catherine, Kelly and Kylee Sullivan, and Nicolai Crescenzi; in laws, Adam and Linda Crescenzi of Concord; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother in law, William LeClair.

The funeral was Sunday at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
